My showgirl experience has been wild in the best way possible! I haven't had a single bad experience, with all my fundraising & efforts, it was all thanks to to the community. Crows Nest community has been nothing but the best - they are very supportive of the show society, My favorite part about being showgirl & the experience is that you meet some of the most amazing people that you didnt even know were in your community, you get to know a lot about people. I encourage anyone out there wanting to have a go, just do it, it's an experience that is so enjoyable and fun! I'm more than pleased to be Crow's Nest Showgirl & Charity for 2024.

Becoming a showgirl has been one of the most life changing experiences. I have grown as a person & in confidence both with public speaking & within myself. I have met so many wonderful people, including people you wouldn't get to meet in everyday life (like the governor). Its a wonderful initiative to involve & promote the next generation of agricultural enthusiasts & represententatives of show societies. I have enjoyed being able to use my connections that I have built to hold events such as the show camp to help continue the wonderful traditions of Ag shows.

During my journey as Junior Rural Ambassador, I gained valuable knowledgeon how to better communicate with the public, local businesses and my peers,
As the only male, i would strongly recommend other boys to be part of this in the future.
Learning how to dance & interact with others at the ball was a great experience.
At the show I learned how to be part of the community in which I live. I had a great time in participating in all the events. In the future I would consider doing this again. For my career in life I would like to work, in the agriculture sector. Being an Ambassador has given me a stronger interest in this.

Embarking on the Rural Ambassador journey this year has been an amazing experience so far. The rural Ambassador program is a great platform to meet and network with so many different people throughut the show movement, & I look forward to this as I continue in this competition. So far it has been a pleasure to get more invloved in the local coummunity & I now hope to inspire others to become involved in this program as it has alrealdy given so much in so little time,

As being new to the Crows Nest community, Isabella felt it was a great way to get involved in the community & meet new people & most importantly develop more self confidence in her own abilities to better herself going forward. Isabella found it very daunting at first, but looks back on it now very proud of what she has achieved.
Isabella would like to encourage the next younger generation to join the show society, as it will give wonderful opportunity to connect within your community.

The journey to becoming Miss Junior showgirl 2024, has been such a wonderful experience for me.
It has pushed me out of my comfort zone, introduced me to people I never would have met otherwise & been so much fun on the whole. I've learnt how much work goes into making these shows come together. And I've enjoyed representing Crows Nest at other ag shows in the region. A special shout out to Elly Close who has been a wealth of information & support throughout the whole process. You're an inspiration.
I encourage anyone that might be interested to just jump in & enter. You'll make new friends, get the chance to dress up & dance the night away & most importantly keep the tradition alive in our small towns,
