The Crows Nest Agricultural, Horticultural & Industrial Society Inc was formed in 1901.
The current Crows Nest Showgrounds were the third and final location, with the 16-acre grounds a tremendous setting nestled amongst rolling hills and hugged by Bald Hills Creek at its back border.
The promotion of agricultural, horticultural and industrial excellence;
The maintenance of an indoor and outdoor recreation venue;
The promotion of events for social and cultural value.

The AGM is held in September and 2020 with some new faces welcomed.
Committee Meetings are held at 7pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Crows Nest Showgrounds.
All are welcome but financial members only can vote.

We are currently seeking a GROUNDSPERSON to help us keep the grass short and the grounds looking their best!
Due to the drought, you will be eased into the role, however, we are hoping for a Christmas rush when we get 10 inches of rain!

Travis is a local businessman who has a keen interest in Vintage machinery and has played a key role in getting the very successful Young Farmers Challenge up and running.
Jess has been exhibiting in the Crows Nest Show since she was young. As a past Miss Showgirl, ABC Heywire winner and Registered Nurse, Jess loves the hive of activity and atmosphere during Show week and seeing young children having a go.

Carol in unison with her husband Martin (retiring local Accountant) brings a wealth of knowledge to the Treasurer position. With a keen interest in Horse racing and as local beef producers we look forward to drawing on their wisdom and trying to reach our goals of improving the Showgrounds by making sound business choices.
